SAP, in simple terms, is a computer audit system to check data security and integrity. SAP is the abbreviation of Systems, Applications, and Products. It provides users real-time software solution for business needs. Because of its user interface, SAP is considered as extremely flexible.
SAP was first introduced in 1980, which provided users real-time business application to facilitate usage by multiple currencies and languages. In 1992, it was introduced as a server-based system. Subsequently, it developed GUI (Graphical User Interface) for more user-friendliness and to go away from the traditional mainframe user interface.
